Child Watch
Time - especially for parents with small children - always seems limited. Between work, social and professional obligations, activities for kids and the family and more, it might feel selfish or impossible to prioritize time to work out to relieve stress and improve your fitness, attend a group exercise class for fun and camaraderie with friends.

Afterschool Program
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We understand the difficulties working families face in raising children, so we are here to provide help with homework and a healthy snack so that time at home is truly family time.

When your child spends time with the Y after school, they are receiving opportunities to continue learning, growing and thriving.

Afterschool Program Details

Who? Ages 5 – 12, currently enrolled in school

What? Afterschool Childcare

When? Directly after school until 5:45PM

Where? On-site at St. Mary's Colgan or Frontenac Elementary School

Why? Structured safe environment, licensed program, social skills building, homework assistance, healthy fuel up and stay fit!

Cost? $15 registration fee + $30 per full week per child for members OR $40 per full week per child for NON-members OR $20 per partial week per child for members OR $30 per partial week per child for NON-members

Full Week is 4-5 days of attendance

Partial Week is 1-3 days of attendance

Summer
Adventure Camp
The Pittsburg Family YMCA has the area's largest, most diverse camp program for kids ages 5-12. They can try new things and expand their horizons through endless adventures and opportunities. Our trained staff offer a safe and fun environment where kids can be themselves as they learn, play, explore and socialize through a mixture of activities designed to them active and engaged all summer. Camp is hosted at Frank Layden Elementary School. Camp is from 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Member: Full Time (4-5 Days) $120/Week
Member: Part Time (1-3 Days) $75/Week
Nonmember: Full Time (4-5 Days) $130/Week
Nonmember: Part Time (1-3 Days) $85/Week
