Our goal is to get 100 donations of $100 from supporters of the Pittsburg Family YMCA. These contributions will help ensure the health of our members and allow us to push through this unprecedented time of the pandemic. The Pittsburg Family YMCA has a rich history in Pittsburg and your support will help maintain that presence.

All funds raised during this campaign will go to the Annual Fund to support:

Covid related expenses – extra cleaning supplies and personnel costs
In what we would consider a normal year, proceeds would be channeled to other priority needs; but with the pandemic come added expenses that are required to deal with the situation.

YMCA ENDOWMENT FUND AND HERITAGE CLUB
The Pittsburg YMCA has a long tradition of positive influence in the community and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to belong and participate. Consistently over the years, the Pittsburg Y has offered programs and services that help young people cultivate a Christian character and meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of the community at large. This is made possible through generous contributions to our Endowment Fund and Heritage Club. Contributions made to these programs aid the YMCA in developing and maintaining its dedication to the community it serves.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Heritage Club or naming the Pittsburg YMCA as the beneficiary of a memorial gift for the Endowment Fund, please contact the YMCA at 620-231-1100.
ADULT FOR YOUTH DONATION
All kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve under the guidance of caring adults. Through our Adult for Youth program, individuals can donate $180 to sponsor an underprivileged youth with a one year membership to the Pittsburg Family YMCA. This will allow the youth to participate in programs and use the facility; developing life skills and providing opportunities they might not otherwise have - as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and social responsibility.

VOLUNTEER
The YMCA is the largest volunteer agency in the world - some 400,000 individuals are involved with the YMCA as they share their talents with others.
​
At the Pittsburg Family YMCA, we have approximately 400 volunteers - even as young as 12 years old - but we can always use more. If you would like to volunteer your time in child care, office work, maintenance, fitness area or as a youth sports coach, give us a call at (620) 231-1100.
​
We can also use young people as swimming aides or junior counselors in our Adventure Camp. This is a great way to get involved as a volunteer.
